"The doll's arm and the turkey claw fitted together so well - just like that Escher drawing - with the right hand drawing the left hand drawing the right hand ...... When I was a teacher I inherited a lot of these pencil boxes - the students made them in their first year woodwork classes, abandoned them when they left after 5 or 6 years of use and scribble and scratch. Lovely things."
