Red Demon - Of self torture
A shadow fell in a cloudless night,
on battered wings
Its senses take flight, to wither in chaos,
It strives to unveil its mission suppressed, in hellfire it waivers.
A wall of mis-ease, hardly a chore to embodied fear.
Its sinews taunt, it approaches a refuse of common fears,
broken into fragments of wasting despair.Poetry by Greg Southorn
"The necessity for art to transform its goals and become accountable in the planetary whole is incompatible with aesthetic attitudes still predicated on the late-modernist assumption that art has no "useful" role to play in the larger sphere of things."Suzi Gablik on The Reenchantment of Art
