Sometimes I chop up work and make collage pieces
or get out the chisels and whittle away.
Some paintings are speedy and other agonizingly slow
often meeting a final end in the rubbbish bin.
I am more of an outside person. The crosses symbolise
for me the battle between reality and dreams, freedom and
constraint. I am a scribbler, of poetry that is more story than poem.
I've been hanging about living in Taranaki, immersed in family and kids and
arty concerns for the last twenty years. Happy arty pursuits to all. All the best. |
