| Artist's Statement I never thought I'd say it, but it's great to be a tart! I'm Taranaki born and bred, having spent some time living in Australia (hence the odd ausie landscape still drifting through) I have been selling and doing commissions, and have shown works in exhibitions in NP. Generally self-taught, I prefer painting in acrylics as I find they give me the bright vibrancy I"m after in most of my works. I believe there are no rules when it comes to art. You can be as creative as you dare to be!! My favourite subjects would have to be sunsets and the human form. Though no one can beat mother nature!. |
