2018 – The Death of Democracy
My artwork is not using the word in the literal sense but and this is a very big but, here is the America tRump is doing his very best to destroy. America and democracy are being killed, murdered, right before our very eyes.
To live here, in this America, they wish to inflict on all the rest of us is frightening, seeing the anger and hate that his followers are displaying, makes me cringe – this is how Hitler and Germany were destroyed by the Nazi Party and I fear this is what the right wing is doing here as well.
Mitch McConnell, as the most evil man in the whole republican party – shoving this right wing pretend christian agenda on all the rest of us. From the Senate to the Congress, and now the Supreme Court, to attempt to marginalize those that disagree – and women are being made insignificant by the patriarchy.
Maybe making art is the most radical political statement an artist can make. I believe that we are witnessing the death of the gOp – and it cannot come soon enough, for the rest of us to rebuild our county into the shining beacon it was can be for the world and all the peoples in it.
