Hunting Season Open
Acrylic paint on paper
Diane Cameron

We live in the country and see deer in the fields or along the road every day. This is a work I did at the beginning of hunting season when I was thinking about how the deer seem to know instinctively that hunting season has begun and stay in the woods rather than come out in the open. But not this oneit stayed near the fence rather than going to safety in the woods, sure to be killed...
