Your tired, your poor

Peggy found an article about the US turning away ships full of Jewish refugees before WWII, with this editorial cartoon.
Your tired, your poor
assemblage of found objects
Brass key rack, porcelain doll arms, rubber Lady Liberty, metal cage, plastic and celluloid baby dolls.
Not exactly subtle, but it gets more relevant by the second.

Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed, to me:
I lift my lamp beside the golden door.
