Not necessarily a SELF portrait. Yes, you can send more than one image. Up to THREE images. It's a virtual exhibition, on the Virtual Tart website. So you send only an image, not the actual work. Sales? Zero commission taken. All communication directly between artist & buyer. Artist's choice of contact details on website. Send big enough images to be used in print as well as on the Net. Entry fee will be $15 for the first image, $10 each for second & third. Cheque/check is fine, or PayPal to dale @ tart.co.nz (remove spaces). (Or to 15 3942 069960 00 if you do NZ online banking.) I've been listening to suggestions and have come to agree that the best 'prize' system is to have a team of 3 judges to select the 25 images. which will be put into a PERMANENT Portrait of the Artist exhibition on the Net. In this world of fleeting fame and transitory images, that seems like a good idea. And I'm planning to produce a book with large images of those 25 artworks, and smaller images of all the others submitted. Get an image of the artwork(s) to me by mid November, 2010. Include title, size & medium (& the $15 please) Name of the subject; name & town & country & email address of the artist.
