Not necessarily a SELF portrait. Yes, you can send more than one image. Up to THREE images. It's a virtual exhibition, on the Virtual Tart website. So you send only an image, not the actual work. Send big enough images to be used in print as well as on the Net. Entry fee will be $15 for the first image, $10 each for second & third. Cheque/check is fine, or PayPal to dale @ tart.co.nz (remove spaces). I'm open to suggestions, but I'm thinking the best 'prize' system is to have viewers vote, and the 25 images with most votes are put into a PERMANENT Portrait of the Artist exhibition on the Net. In this world of fleeting fame and transitory images, is that a good idea? And I'm planning to produce a book with large images of those 25 artworks, and smaller images of all the others submitted. Get an image of the artwork(s) to me by mid October, 2010. Include title, size & medium. Name of the subject; name & town & country & email address of the artist.
