Karen uses a Wacom tablet with a pen that responds to tilt and pressure and she uses Rebelle software which is able to mimic various media and can even make watercolor drips.

The digital paints, pastels and pencils blend and mix together and the "paper" can be wet or dry producing different interactions with the media.
