ChronoMental
A rules-based study of reality and abstraction exploring the positive and negative space of a subject through semi-automatic
chrono-environmental portraiture. The resulting graphical relationships are discovered and enjoyed as I combine the images in tight
rows and columns by adjusting the numbers of images vertically and horizontally until something happens. Most of the time
images are taken directly from camera in the order and orientation I made them without any influence or post processing,
but occasionally I get a little crazy with recursive collage to mix things up and explore this visceral process even more. |
