| Glenys Howland Glenys was born in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Her childhood consisted of living on a farm on Buderim Mountain, the North Coast, Queensland, overlooking the Glasshouse Mountains. Education: - BVA (Fine Art) at WITT Institute of Technology (2002-2005) 'I begin with an idea and then it becomes something else.' Spanish Artist, Pablo Picasso (1881-1973). 'An idea is a point of departure and no more. As soon as you elaborate it, it becomes transformed by thought.' Spanish Artist, Pablo Picasso (1881-1973). Her work is mainly conceptual and her ideas come from childhood experiences, researching many books, the internet, other people, nature, and experiences of life in general. Glenys lives and works from her studio with everyday challenges in New Plymouth. |
