born Roxbourgh NZ Dec 29 1954. Central high country until 1961. Millers flat until 11, then Christchurch/Akaroa in 1966.

1981 choice of Ilam or Elam.
Elam 1981 . left by choice after one term.
Began full time painting in Auckland 1981, continues to this day.
Ist studio Wynyard rd. Mt Eden.
Then Akiraho st.Mt Eden
Then Tole st. Ponsonby
showed first in a small cafe long gone in Auck :Cafe Fluer.Hobson st? Sold my first works there.
Began family with partner Marianne Muggeridge 1983. Two daughters one granddaughter since.
Still living together

Ist studio built [as opposed to rented]1984 Skeet rd. Taranaki. 4 years.
Last studios built 1990. Oeo Taranaki. This Marianne and I built together. One each with living quarters between. It took us two years.
Participated in most Taranaki art events from 1983 until 2000

Numerous and constant solo exhibitions since 1986. First at King st New Plymouth.
After first computer, participated in global mail art networks, won two 'awards' one from Canada and mail art award Museus De Tarragona 1999

We had our studios at 216 Willis street for 5 years open to the public 2000 -2005
