Dear Dale: I just saw the Printmaking exhibit.
The work and the stories are beautifull.
The Prints have like a dream inside each of them. To me they remind me of Spiritual themes.
The composition is superb!!!!
I am happy for these artists that are enjoying printmaking , with or without a press.
Saludos and Best Regards

OH my gosh Dale,
40 years of accumulated cool stuff!
Brava to you for culling it out. It should feel really good after the onerous task of disposal is finished.
Well done!

I have just spent the hour I put aside to "take care of obligations" watching Dale's masterpieces
and reading her thoughts and explanations of her works..
To hell with the obligations...this was a gift to me.
I can now spend my day reliving what I saw and what she said and being grateful for having Dale in my life.
Jocelyn Pollard, Portland, Maine, USA May 12, 2021

Definitely I have experienced the collaborative energy and connection of Visual artists around the World with Art projects like Dale´s.
Thank you Dale for being so enthusiastic about Art and about charring it with us in these Pandemic times.
I especial love the Complex Parabola series.
May God grant you many years of collaboratios through art.

On this sunny first morning of 2021, I decided to start the year with art
appreciation and had a look at Dale’s current Virtual Tart show. It is

always so refreshing, inspiring and simply intriguing to wander from room to room, artist to artist and be surprised at the sheer breadth of -well-
everything: media, subject matter, format, price range, experience. I am set
for the year, what a lovely, colourful and positive exhibition!
I love visiting virtually, though I terribly miss the real life encounters
with the art at the physical Real Tart of old...
All the best for the coming year,
Gunhild Litwin, New Zealand

Richard Landers
Your work overwhelms me. It stays in my mind when I walk away.
An artist once said to me "overwhelming does not put food on my table" and I understand that...being in the same world.
But I have run out of walls and flat surfaces and years to collect more.
Fortunately my appreciation is immortal and I appreciate the beauty of your creation.
I am a jeweler and collageist and overall "arty".
I live in Portland, Maine...USA.
I'm glad I looked at Dale's website this morning.

I just loved Christine’s work. Thank you so much for sharing.
The forest is my special sacred place to be as much as possible.
With winter at our doorstep in Chicago, Illinois USA, some days do not allow this luxury.
I hope to see more work by Christine in the Future.
Tania Blanco, collage and mixed media artist. Naperville, Illinois, USA

November 1st, 2019

Christine's collages on the forest theme are outstanding, creative, and heartstopping.
I love the figures that show human relationship with nature.
I am an avid tree hugger and have certain favorite trees at the arboretum that I visit almost every day weather permitting.
Tania Blanco, collage, mixed media artist. Naperville, Illinois, USA.

November 1st, 2019

Feels like i know you, Dale.
Christine's work is pleasant, moving in a, take your time, breath, come back later way.
Especially 'activity at dawn'.

Hi Mike here, Dunedin NZ, your 'The exuberance of colour' collage resonated with me as a critique of the 'United Colours of Bennetton'.
Thanks for all your images, many more deserve comment.

October 3rd, 2018

Hi Dale, these are very mind-boggling collage works. An unusual and interesting variety of art pieces.
Dale de Cleene, Auckland and Mark Copeland, Sydney

October 1st, 2018

Your work got to me. Love your sense of humour and FU world yet in love with itand see it.
Laurel Davis, New Zealand

October 1st, 2018

Georgie, your art is sensational, and your wisdom spot on.

What you are sharing more than "rattles my cage." I have CFS as well, and all the trimmings you describe as people
look with puzzlement at this 80 year old odd woman with suspicion and frustration. (Why don't I just go sit and knit
and watch soaps...I'd be a lot more happy. That sort of thing is the subliminal message of some well-wishers.)

Like you, I find much more to life from my perspective now than I did twenty years ago while still trying to fit my life
into the current world culture. Right now I am at a new doorway once again!
Possibilities keep coming to me as gifts, and I look over the brink, and have learned to say..."Why not?!"
And jump!

I call it spending my life instead of trying to save it. That saying has worthy roots, I do believe.
With admiration and good wishes, one of Dale's artist friends,
Susan Holland from Washington State, USA

Having spent four years as a secondary school classmate with 6ft 4in+ Little Bobby, I can see one of his styles has been passing the test of time.
Flights of fancy could dull the pain of most Latin classes!
Little Bobby is very creative in multiple media as witness his murals, drama set designs, and his recent school of various fish in wood and aluminum cans.
Joseph Witalis, Gatineau, Quebec, Canada

Hello, all you wonderful artists.
I live in New Jersey, far from your talented crowd, but I enjoy seeing the fresh, imaginative and wonderful
art that is being sreated down under - in many instances far superior what New York City or its environs can come up with.
Ive enjoyed your exhibition and congratulate you all.

Just scrolled through the images of Stu Morris and Myf Morris.
If I lived close, I certainly would visit the expo. Based on what the screen tells: vivid work with depth, playfulness, dreamlike (some dreams have nasty edges).
Do go on.

I was able to go to the exhibition at the 59 Rivoli in Paris. I am the student in Art History and Anthropology who wants to specialise in New Zealand's contemporary art and I wanted to let you know, again, how interesting and mesmerizing this exhibition was. The pieces presented was so interesting and so eclectic ( subject as technique), and I appreciated that you tell me more about your own creation.
I registered myself on the newsletters and I enjoy receiving news and discovering new artists ( the website is very rich, it's fantastic)
Can i ask, if any other exhibition is plan in Europe soon ? I intend to come in New Zealand but it's not for today yet.
With all good wishes,
Bests regards

dearest Dale,
Congratulations on a most exciting combination of assemblage talents.

You know how much I adore your work. But yours is so very well paired with Robbii who is a tad more flamboyant and Victorian in his concepts while Seth Apter is inching more into your territory except for his painted backgrounds.
I love all the approaches and admire them greatly. Having known you all these past years I am thrilled to be part of this world of the arts and enjoy your exhibition so very much.

And congratulations on going back to Paris! That is super news, Dale.

(and Hell's Kitchen is always waiting for you!)

This is a profound and deeply felt compliment for your prolific paintings of bottles and

Wow! Wow!Wow, Leila!! What amazing work/play! It's too long since I have seen your work, the last I remember seeing was what you had painted in Papua New Guinea and I thought they were pretty amazing. This is such a quantum leap and very different from your style then of course, but Leila, who are you trying to kid? Apprentice angel??? Your halo has very appropriately shrunk!! Very impressive - I love it all!! I would love to buy one, maybe Heirloom Vase if it hasn't already gone? My next favourites are Lot's Wife and Aratiatia Rapids. Please let me know if you still have any of these and prices. They have probably long gone! I will check this website from time to time. When is your next exhibition?

To Whom it may Concern:
Hello, and greetings from Los Angeles, Ca. A while back I was working with Mr. Tim Chadwick to sell a piece he had done titled:
"Mazda RX7, RX3, RX2, 787B, R100 coupe, Cosmos artwork ltd edition print"
I just found out today (June 17) via your website that Tim passed away. To all there who knew him, please accept my deepest condolences. He was always a very nice fellow in our communications.
I was wondering if some of his automotive artwork was still available... or who I may contact to get this information. If someone could please get back to me, I'd truly appreciate it. Thank you!

thank you again Dale ! for all your work to put this annual collage event together!

Love you much! Sandy Faria, Portsmouth, Rhode Island

December 1, 2009

wonderful work, john trainor! i enjoyed every single piece, and will be returning to have more looks. each of your works has a very nice combination of delicacy and strength. your statement says that you work from your subconscious, and i find that uplifting since i do the same whereas many artists state specific purposes. i think it all has meaning, but in working from the subconscious you are discovering the meaning along the way, yes? it makes the process an exploration, which is exciting.

September 16, 2006

Hi Dale: I love your art!
Like you, I've worked for 30 odd years & am slowly stepping into the world of art making. For me it's like exploring Mars. Everything is strange and new. My first attempt at art was to make an assemblage. This art form is what comes most naturally for me, although I am now experimenting with collage, acrylics & mixed media. Your assemblages are wonderful and I will check your excellent website often. You sound fulfilled, happy, and content. What more can a woman ask for?
I hope you earned the money to go to Berlin and that you had/are having a wonderful trip.
Thanks for giving. Elizabeth, RogueART

September 10, 2006

To Dale Copeland - how fortuitous that I've found you! A fan of yours found me on MySpace because of my shadowboxes and told me that I should check out your website and I have a deep appreciation for what you create.
I am elated to find out that you are also in the International Assemblage Artist Exhibition!
I really do hope to meet you in Berlin!
I'm crossing my fingers for you for your brilliant Make an Offer campaign... wish I could help you out but I'm strapped for cash getting to Berlin myself! Looking forward to meeting you - take care.

Enjoyed your site.
I was actually looking for the work of John McLean, as in 1977 I bought his "Broken Karaka."
He was a friend of our friends who lived in NP. They took us to John's studio and he was painting "Broken Karaka." I fell for the painting and we bought it when it was finished. I saw his "Man and Wife Adrift" on your site and would be interested in seeing more of his work.
We moved to Australia in 1978 and we've taken BK from Melbourne to the Sunshine Coast in recent years. We still love it and it is always admired by visitors. His work is joined by that of Val Ross, an expatriate Kiwi, who paints on the Coast, often NZ scenes when she visits Maraki most years..
Please give John our best wishes.

My own work makes sense to me but not to everyone else.

Nearly fifteen years ago I lived in this region, even wrote environmental articles for the local New Plymouth paper I was amazed and so lucky to discover how many creative talents I met and came to appreciate while living there. One day I will bring my children to visit. The art here is representive of this heartwarming region and I was delighted to stumble onto this websight and be inspired by it. Thank you.

Thank you for your beautiful collages. I am very impressed. I worked with political posters from Medellin, Colombia in 1991. Your work is very rich. I love the formalistic qualities. I am a great fan of dada and assemblage.

It's been rewarding to look through your exhibition and individual artists works.
Entry forms for the Peters Doig Marlborough Art Awards 2005 are on their way to many of the artists and we hope we might see some of their work amongst those chosen for the exhibition in May.
Best wishes,
Jennifer Jones-Godden, Exhibitions Director, Marlborough Gallery, Blenheim.
